At Foundry Lane, pupils are offered a rich Music experience. This involves regular lessons where they get the chance to develop their skills in listening, composing, performing (orally and with instruments) while also learning about Music History. In addition to this, the school offers a wide range of Music experiences across the Curriculum, from exploring Music in other subjects, to participation in school events such as Productions, Collective Worship and the Carol Service. Extra-curricular opportunities are also offered, including the opportunity to learn an instrument through peripatetic lessons.

Foundry Lane works closely with the Southampton Music Hub; in Year 4, the Service provides all pupils the opportunities to 'try out' learning different instruments across the year.
