Warm and Cool Colours
This project teaches children about colour theory by studying the colour wheel and colour mixing. It includes an exploration of warm and cool colours, Aboriginal art and how artists use colour in their artwork.

This project teaches children about the artform of weaving and how it has developed over time, including the materials and techniques required to create woven patterns and products.

Unpacking Hardware and Software
This unit allows children to further their understanding of technology and computer systems in relation to their hardware and software. Children will understand the role of hardware, the role of software and how they interact together to complete tasks.

Animation
This unit introduces children to animation and the common techniques used by animators. Children will use traditional animation methods and compare these methods with using animation software (2Animate). Children will learn techniques, such as onion skinning, ending with the production of their own digital 2D animation.

This unit introduces children to Logo programming, focusing on developing their understanding of basic commands and programming concepts. Children will learn to create shapes and letters using instructions that contain advanced features such as procedures.

Fresh Food, Good Food
This project teaches children about food decay and preservation. They discover key inventions in food preservation and packaging, then make examples. The children prepare, package and evaluate a healthy snack.

Interconnected World
This essential skills and knowledge project teaches children about compass points and four and six-figure grid references. They learn about the tropics and the countries, climates and culture of North and South America. Children identify physical features in the United Kingdom and learn about the National Rail and canal networks. They conduct an enquiry to prove a hypothesis, gathering data from maps and surveys before drawing conclusions.
History
Invasion
This project teaches children about life in Britain after the Roman withdrawal. Children will learn about Anglo-Saxon and Viking invasions up to the Norman conquest.

This unit introduces children to 2Cast, an audio recording tool in Purple Mash. Children will explore the features of effective audio books and work as a team to script, record and edit their own.

This unit teaches children to use search technologies effectively by selecting clear keywords, understanding how results are ranked, refining searches for accuracy, and evaluating online content to judge whether it is reliable and trustworthy.

Functional and Fancy fabrics
This project teaches children about home furnishings and the significant designer William Morris. They learn techniques for decorating fabric, including block printing, hemming and embroidery and use them to design and make a fabric sample.

This project teaches children about simple machines, including wheels, axles, inclined planes, pulleys and levers, exploring how they helped ancient builders to lift and move heavy loads.

This project teaches children about the 3-D representation of the human form, including statues, statuettes and figurines. They study examples from ancient civilisations, and use their clay skills to create a Sumer-style figurine.

Composing Beats
This unit teaches children to explore the different elements of music, experiment with beats, and compose engaging music using the Purple Mash tool, Busy Beats.

This unit introduces pupils to Artificial Intelligence, exploring what it is, what it can do, and how it is used in today’s digital world. This project teaches children about electrical appliances and safety. They construct simple series circuits and name their parts and functions, including switches, wires and cells. They combine their learning to design and make a nightlight.

In this unit pupils will learn to listen more carefully so as to be able to understand a familiar fairy tale recounted in the foreign language using picture, word and phrase cards.
