Thursday-

Friday -  Please return Library books, PE day and the Year R information sheet and library books are sent home.

Children are free to change their home reading books as often as they like.  Their reading colour is on the back of their home reading log and the books are located in the shared area of Year R. Reading logs need to be returned in the last week of a half term and a new one will be issued on the Friday before the holiday.

P.E. kit is needed for children to be able to access the lessons safely. Without it unfortunately children will not be able to join in our fun and valuable P.E. lessons as we have very limited spare kit.

Please can all earrings be removed and long hair tied back on Fridays.

Phonics

Children have been working hard in phonics. We have learnt the Phase 2 sounds and now working on Phase 3.  Children are able to sound and blend simple CVC words (cat, bag, tin etc)

Don't forget to get your child to practice reading the words and sentences in their phonics book.

Why not look at these links and sing the songs and try the games?
