School Council
School councillors have been elected for this year (2019-2020). This year we have also elected a class Travel Tracker councillor to aid their class with the completion of travel tracker and to help distribute the badges.
We have had our first meeting and are very excited to share our fantastic ideas and discussions with you all. Please check this page for future meeting dates.
School councillors meet every few weeks to discuss ways to improve the school day to day. They each bring a topic for discussion and we will vote what we will discuss each week. They then make decisions to make improvements to help them feel like they have a say about day to day runnings of the school.
At the end of each month we distribute badges to the children who have completed Travel Tracker and have walked/cycled/scooted or used park and stride the most. Well done if you have collected one every month!
Each year we organise Foundry Lane's Got Talent and the school council act as judges! This year we discovered a range of talents. Well done to all those who have entered, You're all superstars!

School Council's last meeting was about clubs. Now we all know that we do run some clubs here at Foundry lane. However, wouldn't it be great if we could expand the options that we offer to the children? If you think you have any hidden interests or talents that you would like to share with the children please let us know. School Council are looking into ways we can give children more access to clubs and we need your help.
