We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

 

Learning Support Assistant

 

Grade 6, Scale Point 12 – 17, £14,227 - £15,577 actual  (£22,368 – £24,491 FTE)

 

Foundry Lane is a thriving 3 form entry Primary school in the heart of Southampton. We are looking for a dedicated, kind and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join our team.

 

The successful candidate will be working either on a one to one basis supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorders or providing general classroom support.

 

For this position you will need to be able to demonstrate a broad range of skills, preferably the successful candidate will have worked successfully with SEN pupils in previous roles.  Successful candidates will need to fully commit to Foundry Lane’s values and ethos and be able to articulate examples of how these have been demonstrated in previous roles.

 

The post is term time only, 5 days a week, 5.5hrs a day.

 

Applicants should be prepared to work with students who occasionally exhibit challenging behaviour, have a commitment to their education and welfare and have a fair and professional approach to adhering to School Policies.

 

You will need to be resilient, empathetic and caring whilst concurrently setting safe boundaries for acceptable behaviour.
