We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

 

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants

Starting December 2019

 

Southampton City Council Grade 3, starting salary £18,065 pro rata

 

Foundry Lane Primary School are looking for two dedicated, independent and passionate individuals to join their fantastic Midday Supervisor team.  Our school provides an inclusive nurturing learning environment in which children are enabled to make progress, grow and reach their full potential.  Our children acquire a love of lifelong learning whilst developing social and emotional skills.

 

This role would be ideal for someone who has a passion for working with children aged from 5 – 11, is approachable and committed to providing the highest quality of care for children under their supervision.

The hours are:

Monday to Friday,  12pm - 1.30pm

You will be:

  • Supporting the pupils during their lunch breaks, sometimes within the classroom, and supervising playground activities.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during the lunch and play time period.
  • You may also be required to support individual children on a 1:1 basis.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join their fantastic site support team as a cleaner to work 15 hours per week split as 3 hours per day, there is a degree of flexibility around whether these hours are worked in the morning or afternoon.

ASD SEN Learning Support Assistant Vacancy

Grade 6, Scale Point 12 – 17, £21,769 – £23,836 FTE

 

Foundry Lane Primary School is a growing 3 form entry school who encourage our entire community to fulfil their potential through high self-esteem and lifelong learning.

 

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and committed ASD SEN Learning Support Assistant.

 

The successful candidate will be working on a one to one basis supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

For this position you will need to be an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with pupils who either have Severe Learning Difficulties or who are on the autistic spectrum; ideally with a minimum of two years experience.   

 

The post is term time only, 5 days a week, 5.5hrs a day.

 

Applicants should be prepared to work with students who occasionally exhibit challenging behaviour, have a commitment to the education and welfare of pupils and have a fair and professional approach to adhering to School Policies.

 

You will need to be resilient, empathetic and caring whilst concurrently setting safe boundaries for acceptable behaviour.

Breakfast Club Assistant

Grade 4, Scale Point 5 - 6 - £18,795 - 19,310 FTE

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable person to join our Breakfast Club team in the Tiger Pad.  The successful candidate would ideally have experience of working with children of primary school age but this is not essential.

 

Your role would be to help provide a calm, welcoming environment for children joining us for an hour before the start of the school day. You will support them with play and help provide a healthy, varied and balanced breakfast.
