Hello Year 1! Welcome back after your half term holidays!
We hope you had a lovely, relaxing break.
Here are the home learning packs for the next week of learning at home. You will have recieved: A maths pack, an English pack, an English Skills booklet with handwriting and spellings, a new phonics book and an additional Geography topic pack.
This week in Maths we will be exploring the place value of 2-digit numbers to 50.
In English, we are starting to learn about Fairy tales. We begin by exploring the suffix -est and -er. We will then be reading the Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.

There are some videos available for you to practise handwriting at home with your children. Click on the picture to see the letter formation videos.
These packs are also available to collect in paper form on Friday 12th February from 10am-2pm at the Imperial Avenue gate. Please bring in any completed work so that teachers can mark the home learning that has been completed.
We look forward to seeing all of your hard work!
