Holiday Club

Our Holiday Club is open during all school holidays and is open to all primary school aged children across all schools in the city
(excluding Christmas and the last 3 weeks of the Summer holidays).

You do not have to attend Foundry Lane Primary School to attend our Holiday Club and we love meeting children from other schools who join us to make new friends and enjoy varied activities with us during the school holidays.

Children attending our holiday club can take advantage of all of our indoor and outdoor facilities and we actively encourage sports and outdoor adventure - whatever the weather - as this is an incredibly important part of children's development.

We offer different activities every day and we theme each week of the school holidays.  Children have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of art and craft activities, sports and team building games, including Fantastic Film Friday.

We publish our planned activities in advance so check back to see what's planned for the coming holidays!

Sessions can be booked for the whole day - 8:00am - 5.45pm - at a cost of £25 or half day sessions at a cost of £12.50 per session. Half day sessions run from 8:00am - 1:00pm and 1:00pm - 5.45pm.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. If there are no spaces available then your child will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified when a place is available.

October 2020

During the October half term we had an amazing week with all the children that attended capturing imagination and attention using themes which included Halloween, the festival of light, firework/bonfire night, cooking and our film Friday.

We kicked off the week with creating drawings and chalk pictures full of light to celebrate Diwali, the children also used Marble ink to create their own design.

Our Halloween Wednesday saw us all dress up (respecting those that didn't want to), learn about the history of the tradition, and then adventure of travelling and searching a trick or treat trail.

The Thursday was a day spent in the kitchen for everyone enjoying creating and making various delicious foods including many different flavoured healthy soups to try and scrumptious cakes for a Foundry Lane bake-off. It was great to see the teamwork and fun the children had in being creative and involved in their own end products.

Such an enjoyable week for both staff and the children was finished off firework party delivered virtually with hot dogs to feed the belly, hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream to warm the hands. While all children enjoyed the party with illuminous and glow in the dark sticks, glasses and accessories.

We are now taking bookings for May half term and Summer 2019!
