Friends of Foundry Lane Primary School is a registered charity, run by volunteers, raising money for the school to help with equipment and resources that enrich the children's experience and learning. We do this through running events aimed at bringing the community within school together. Our main events over the 2019/2020 academic year were the Pumpkin party, Festive Fayre and Easter Egg sales. We also ran a Festive Family Photo Shoot and uniform sales.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic other events including an Easter Egg Hunt and our Summer Fete were not able to take place. We are also sadly not currently able to meet for our weekly coffee meetings which prior to the Covid-19 pandemic took place every Tuesday morning between 9 -10 am in the blue room (cabin in English Road playground) during term time.
Committee meetings currently take place on Zoom. Our next meeting is on Tuesday 1st December at 8pm. All are welcome. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for the meeting link.
You can support Friends of Foundry Lane by making a donation to our PayPal pool.
All donations for events throughout the year (Christmas cards, raffle, non uniform day etc) can also be made here.
When making a donation for an event please put the event name and your child's name and class as a reference.
Thank you from everyone at Foundry Lane Primary School.
Decorate a Bauble!
Buy a bauble from Friends, decorate it, bring it in to be displayed on the school tree and it will be sent home in time for Christmas (write your name and class on the back). The best decorated bauble in each key stage will win a prize and it would be lovely to see your designs displayed in the school.
Baubles are only £1 each and all profits will go to the Friends' fundraising efforts.
Order using the link below and follow payment instructions there (to maintain social distancing) - blank baubles will be sent home from school with your child

Christmas Raffle - 11th December
Even though there won't be a real festive fayre this year, we're very grateful to a number of local businesses who have kindly donated prizes for our Christmas raffle. There are some great prizes including family tickets for Milestones Museum, New Forest Wildlife Park, Exbury Gardens and Solent Sky Museum, a £50 voucher from Robin's Nest and a lot more including wine and other goodies.
So we can observe social distancing this year, you can order your raffle tickets using the following link and pay via Paypal or other forms. You'll need to provide an email address so we can send you your numbers and we'll be holding the draw on 11th December.

WELL DONE EVERYONE!!
Ribbon cut on Thursday 2nd November
Thank you to everyone that has helped raise money for The Tower. The children were all delighted to play on it after the ribbon was cut. Through the work of the Friends committee and all the children and parents that have supported the events, this has been made possible.
