Southampton City Council Grade 6, salary range £21,769 – 23,124 FTE

 

Foundry Lane Primary School are looking for a dedicated, independent and passionate individual to join their fantastic LSA team.  Our school provides an inclusive nurturing learning environment in which children are enabled to make progress, grow and reach their full potential.  Our children acquire a love of lifelong learning whilst developing social and emotional skills.

 

As an LSA you will be working 1:1 with some of our children.  You will ensure that they are progressing ensuring you are using a child centred approach in all the work you do. To be successful in this LSA role you will need to work well both independently and as part of the wider year group team.  In return, we will offer you training, support and continued professional development.

 

To be successful for this Learning Support Role:

 

You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children who require additional support both academically, behaviourally and emotionally.  You would have some knowledge on the best ways to support these students although additional support will be given to develop existing skills. You must have a flexible and adaptable approach in how you support students. Having strong behaviour management is a must! Any SEN training/qualifications are desirable but not essential to be successful for this role.  This is a fulltime, term time only.

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants

Starting September 2019

 

Southampton City Council Grade 3, starting salary £18,065 pro rata

 

Foundry Lane Primary School are looking for two dedicated, independent and passionate individuals to join their fantastic Midday Supervisor team.  Our school provides an inclusive nurturing learning environment in which children are enabled to make progress, grow and reach their full potential.  Our children acquire a love of lifelong learning whilst developing social and emotional skills.

 

This role would be ideal for someone who has a passion for working with children aged from 5 – 11, is approachable and committed to providing the highest quality of care for children under their supervision.

The hours are:

Monday to Friday,  12pm - 1.30pm

You will be:

  • Supporting the pupils during their lunch breaks, sometimes within the classroom, and supervising playground activities.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during the lunch and play time period.
  • You may also be required to support individual children on a 1:1 basis.

Cleaner Vacancy

Foundry Lane Primary school provides an inclusive nurturing learning environment in which children are enabled to make progress, grow and reach their full potential. 

 

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join their fantastic site support team as a cleaner to work 15 hours per week split as 3 hours per day, there is a degree of flexibility around whether these hours are worked in the morning or afternoon.
