Holiday Club

Our Holiday Club at The Tiger Pad is open during all school holidays, with the exception of Christmas and the last 3 weeks of the Summer holidays and is open to all primary aged children across the city.

You do not have to attend Foundry Lane Primary School to attend our Holiday Club and we love meeting children from other schools who join us during the school holidays.

Children attending our holiday club can take advantage of all of our indoor and outdoor facilities and we actively encourage outdoor play - whatever the weather - as this is an incredibly important part of children's development.

We offer different activities every day and we theme each week of the school holidays.  Children have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of art and craft activities, sports and team building games.

We publish our planned activities in advance so check back to see what's planned for the coming holidays!

Sessions can be booked for the whole day - 8am - 5.45pm - at a cost of £25 or half day sessions at a cost of £12.50 per session. Half day sessions run from 8am - 1pm and 1pm - 5.45pm.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. If there are no spaces available then your child will be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified when a place is available.

Easter 2019

It was another busy 2 weeks at Holiday Club during the Easter holidays.  We had a visit from Incredible Eggs again this Easter only this time, the chicks had already hatched when they were delivered.  They arrived as tiny bundles of fluff and left us much much bigger and very healthy!

As well as the chicks, we successfully hatched lots of Aqua Dragons who are staying in The Tiger Pad for the rest of Tiger Club to enjoy through the summer term.  The children and staff in holiday club also made a nursery for the stick insect eggs and these will be hatching very soon!

As well as lots of animal fun, the children were very crafty making spring mobiles, paper birds and lots of flowers!  It was quite windy during the holidays so we took the opportunity to make kits out of plastic bags - these flew amazingly well!

Everyone dabbled in some science experiments using milk and ink and elephant toothpaste!!

There were lots of chances for outdoor and physical play too with the children bringing their scooters, skipping and jumping around the playground and playing lots of games including chase and hide and seek!

During the quieter moments, the children were able to try their hand at various baking projects and they really enjoyed their movie afternoon!

May half term holiday club will be led by our new Holiday Club leader Dan Martin.  Dan is an experienced sports coach and is looking forward to incorporating all the usual favourite holiday club activities alongside lots of exciting new sporting activities!  Why not come and along and enjoy the fun!

We are now taking bookings for  May half term and Summer 2019!

Please send completed application forms to the school office either via email parents@foundrylaneprimary.co.uk, by hand or by post.
